In Vitro, Animal and Human Studies

Insight provides a range of consulting and training services for designing, conducting and analyzing In Vitro, Animal and Human Studies.

There are a number of contexts where health studies are conducted including:

  • In Vitro Studies - Medical procedures, tests, and experiments that researchers perform outside of a living organism. An in vitro study occurs in a controlled environment, such as a test tube or petri dish.

  • Animal Studies - Either when the research focus is on health conditions and treatments designed for animals, or when using animals for early research before continuing with human research.

  • Human Studies - Either of healthy participants or participants with specific health conditions.

All animal and human research requires careful consideration by ethics and regulatory committees.
